As a dog trainer I highly recommend Nose2Tail for obedience and scent work training. I have referred many friends and continue to direct people to Nose2Tail when asked by dog owners where to take classes. I compete with my dogs in obedience, scent work and field. Because of this, high quality training opportunities are important to me. I also appreciate having multiple locations to train for my dogs experience. I have taken lessons in scent work both privately and in a class setting from Brenda at Nose2Tail. Having trained multiple dogs and taught obedience for many years I value how Brenda is encouraging, professional and very knowledgeable about teaching and training scent work to me and my young dog. My dog and I are currently taking rally obedience and scent work classes at Nose2Tail. Scent work is held inside in the winter months. Other seasons there is work inside and outside, which I find very beneficial. The rally instructor is knowledgeable and experienced. The new facility is perfect for indoor training. Well matted, clean, equipt with chairs & kennel mats, and they sell some products related to training. The location is convenient on the south side of Brainerd.

I have been working with Brenda from Nose 2 Tail dog training since Chewie was a pup. Brenda has a positive training style that puts your dog’s needs first and utilizes positive dog training techniques which allow your dog to flourish and you as the trainer to have the necessary skills to encourage positive outcomes, further building the bond you share. Chewie has participated in puppy training, nose work and therapy dog training. Brenda takes an active interest in you and your dog as a team, and invests time in observing both your dog and you as the handler and provides feedback based on each of the dogs unique needs-and handlers. She not only “knows” how to train, she has achieved success with her own dogs in each of the areas she trains and brings “real world” experience to her training that her students benefit from. Brenda has a beautiful training facility that offers both indoor and outdoor training opportunities to take place.
